Present Economy of India:

Recently I read in newspapers that India’s economy is not growing good, India working without a leader: Azim Premji, and etc. (Source: http://ibnlive.in.com/news/we-are-working-without-a-leader-in-india-premji/265765-7.html)

After reading all this news I want to check out, Is India’s economy going down, Is it really matters?

I extracted past and current data of GDP for few countries to compare the economy of India. The following are statistics.

Past 10 yrs GDP:
(Source: http://www.indexmundi.com/g/g.aspx?v=66&c=gm&l=en)

India had grown excellent for the past 10 yrs (2000 to 2010), indeed she had chased Chaina which maintained better economy growth than other countries in the World.

None of other developed countries (US,UK,Germany and etc) even could not reach to close margin with India’s growth rate. Infact, few countries reached negative growth rate in 2009.

So….India had grown good..

Present GDP:

Yes !.. India has marked less growth(5.4 % in 2012 Q1) compared to highest growth 10.4% in 2010.
Is it because of “India working without a leader: Azim Premji “ ….?
Is India’s economy not growing good as some political leaders in India are saying?

Yes! I agree that India’s GDP is less compared to China’s GDP, but still India has reached considerable growth compared to other developed and developing countries.

Indeed, UK does not have growth rate, Japan is in NEGATIVE GDP, Russia just have positive growth rate which had GDP -7.9 (negative) in 2009.

Do you think current internal matters effecting India’s growth rate really?
Is India working without a leader ?
